Dutch stop-animation masterminds Sander and Maurice van Kessel have developed a beautiful and thought-provoking claymation piece in Space Intruder.
It tells the story of a large, unattractive alien, who gets more than he bargained for when little green worms begin to invade his planet. The little slugs are easy to squish, but the same cannot be said for his next visitor, a finger-like extraterrestrial.
Will the alien rid his planet of this latest intruder and return to his peaceful existence, or has he bitten off more than he can chew?
Space Intruder is an engaging work with much to say about bullying and environmental conservation.
